Volume 1, The WEST Movement

The year of 2006 was a big year for Westcoast Hip Hop, with the blazing trail of the Yay Area and the Hyphy Movement leading the way... The 'New' West, has brought out new undaground artist from the LA such as Damani, Bishop Lamont, and Glasses Malone. With the Game pushing the way for LA LA, the West is getting new attention from the public, the video channels, and record labels. Yay artists have been know over the years to leave the Bay for LA for more exposure .. and more work in the industry. From 2pac's move to LA, to Spice 1, to Yukmouth, now you got artists like Ya Boy, Clyde Carson, and Mistah FAB spending time in SOCAL. The labels have come running to sign up the Hyphy/Bay Movement... Mistah FAB is now signed to Atlantic Records his single and video 'Ghost Ride It' will be featured on MTV Jams this month!....Ya Boy and Clyde Carson have signed up with Games BlackWallstreet Camp, and now there are reports that the one and only JT The Bigga Figga has become the VP in charge of Dogghouse Records, Snoops label. Big Thangs, Bay Style!! Also new, C-BO has inked a deal with Young Buck, what? .. yeah Young Buck, even though many in the bay are not happy with BO sleeping with the enemy... Bo is sure to get much exposure when he drops a new album... Bay 2 LA lets get it going, we must end this Black vs Latino beef that has been escalating in Chino, other prisions and with the recent deaths of a 14yr old and a 9 yr old in LA.

The Westside Ridah Report hits you with something you wont see on MTV.. Snoop Dogg doing his undaground video thang again, with help from JT The Bigga Figga the new VP of Dogghouse, and an appearance from Malika 'Queen of the Bay' from Making the Band 3... looks like they in the studio, this track is featured on Snoop's Blue Carpet Treatment with help from Damian Marley... we out!
